Progressive Printing and Graphics opened in 1979 as “Super Print,” on West Columbia Avenue, across from what was Lakeview’s Highland Junior High. It became a family project of the Egan Family of Battle Creek.

Personalized printed products were growing in popularity. Soon the business outgrew this location and moved to its current location of 148 E. Columbia. The building at this location was an old house which was converted to a print shop.

In addition to offering the same services we offer today, i.e. printed business cards, brochures, letterhead, envelopes, mailing and design services, Super Print was a vendor for wedding invitations during the 1980s. Charlotte Egan, dubbed “Super Mom,” managed the wedding side of the business. She is no longer with us, and we miss her!

After many years and millions of impressions printed, we outgrew the old house and built a new state-of-the-art facility to meet the space and equipment needs of the growing business. The name was changed to Progressive Printing and Graphics to better reflect our passion for delivering the highest quality products using the newest technologies available.
